Red Wine

With red wine, black grapes are used to make it, and it will include the skins for the darker pigmentation. The major difference with red wines and the other varieties are the tannins that are present. The tannins come from the grape skins.

White Wine

With red wine, white grapes are used to make it, however, there are some that are made using black grapes. The main difference here is that there is no contact at all with the skin, which is why you have the light, or white, color.

Blush Wine

Also referred to as rosé, blush wine is a wine that is made using dark black grapes, yet the skins are completely removed after some brief contact. This is a wine that contains very little in the way of tannins, so you have a medium blush color along with a naturally sweet taste.
